DMCA Notice & Takedown
How to report copyright-infringing content under 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Designated agent
Copyright owners or their authorized agents may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent at: dmca@afterglow.example. Postal address: AFTERGLOW Press Ltd., DMCA Agent, 27 Old Street, London EC1V 9HL, United Kingdom.
Notice requirements
A valid takedown notice must include: (1) physical or electronic signature of the owner or authorized agent; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) the exact URL(s) of the infringing material; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; (6) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Response timeline
Properly formatted notices are processed within 24 hours during business days. Confirmation will be sent to the email provided in the notice.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed in error, submit a counter-notification meeting 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) requirements. Restored material reappears within 10–14 business days unless the original claimant files suit.
Repeat offenders
Accounts or contributors with three or more sustained DMCA strikes are permanently terminated under our repeat-infringer policy.
Misrepresentation warning
Knowingly false claims of infringement may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Submit notices in good faith only.
