Content Removal Request
Request removal of content depicting you, even if you are not a copyright owner.
Who can request
You may request removal of content depicting yourself, regardless of who uploaded it. This includes content you originally consented to but no longer wish to be public.
How to submit
Email removal@afterglow.example with: (1) the URL(s) of the content; (2) a clear photograph of you holding a current government-issued ID, with the ID number and address redacted but the name and photo visible; (3) a brief statement of your relationship to the content.
Verification
We verify identity by matching your submitted photo against the content. We do not store ID images beyond the verification step (typically <72 hours).
Response timeline
Verified removal requests are honored within 48 hours. We will email confirmation when content is removed.
Non-consensual content
Suspected non-consensual or revenge content is removed immediately upon report, before verification, and the originating account is suspended pending investigation. Use removal@afterglow.example with the subject line URGENT-NCII.
Anonymity
We never disclose the identity of the requester to the original uploader.
